| Dark Engine – I saw this interesting, very large, dark shape in Washington State. The engine was just sitting by the side of the road and it became the subject of a painting because I simply like all kinds of machinery. It is also a study in dark colors. I used up a lot of Payne’s grey, burnt umber and blues! |
